Cardamom Rose Mule Recipe

A romantic, spiced take on the Mule—where cardamom meets ginger and citrus, and a hint of Old Salt Merchants Rose Sugar adds an elegant floral finish.


Ingredients

  • 2 oz vodka
  • ½ oz fresh lime juice
  • ¼ oz cardamom simple syrup (see below)
  • 4 oz ginger beer
  • Old Salt Merchants Rose Sugar
  • Ice

Instructions

  1. In a copper mug or rocks glass, add vodka, lime juice, and cardamom syrup over ice.
  2. Top with ginger beer and stir gently.
  3. Garnish with a lime wheel and rim glass with Rose Sugar around the rim. Add edible rose petals for extra flair.

Tips / Notes

  • Cardamom Simple Syrup: Simmer ½ cup sugar, ½ cup water, and 1 tsp crushed green cardamom pods until dissolved. Let steep 15 mins, strain, and cool. Floral, fizzy, and subtly spiced—this cocktail is perfect for garden parties, date nights, or anytime you want something a little special.
